It's great to have one day on the calendar where we feel like we can give a little extra effort to keep the world clean. Go Earth! We all know it doesn't just stop here though. Lab has made a point of choosing greener, cleaner, more responsible options at every turn. Although there are some high wattage tools that are hard to avoid as hairdressers we have made some smart choices to keep our footprint small.
Here's some of what we do to stay green:
- We offer ammonia free color products and endeavor to keep product wastage to a bare minimum
- we also offer several lines of sulphate and paraben free haircare/styling products
- all lightbulbs in the salon are compact fluorescent
- we have high efficiency water heaters
- all of our cleaning products are Seventh Generation
- we diligently recycle and endeavor to use recycled paper
- our business cards are printed on recycled plastic
