Our wayward son Ian Hoar a.k.a. Dj Touchbass has mixed up a delicious concoction of dance floor dynamite that is sure to become a staple at every pool party, back yard barbeque, beach bonfire, and summer soiree you can muster! 

Not a downloader?  Still no iPod?  Raised by ludites?

No problem, a limited edition cd release will be available at the salon sometime in July.

Lab is now open 6 DAY A WEEK!  

That's right! In an effort to make you hair services even more convenient, we have decided to open the salon on Mondays. Extra good news to all those with a valid student ID, cause we will be offering students 15% off any service at lab on Mondays.

If that isn't enough to get you giddy, we are also keeping the salon open late Tuesday-Friday. No more super long wait times for appointments!

More stylists + More available hours = Happy Happy Clients.

Aloha Ian

The lab is sad to say "good-bye for now"  to one of our own. 

Ian Hoar has been part of the lab movement since before his seemingly inevitable employment as the salon's front end personality, dj, and all around great guy. He is leaving the bustling little burg of Victoria for the sunshiny Aloha State of Hawaii. Already set up with swanky new diggs in Honolulu , he moves  to Oahu in hopes of pursuing a continued career in television, and a better tan. While jealousy over this bold and enviable move slowly rolls to a boil, we wish Ian well with all of his new activities and we hope his new community will appreciate him as much as we do. 

Ian promises to return to the lab one day and until he does he has left us a custom DJ mix under his alias "Touch Bass" which we will be releasing soon as part of our " lab summer essentials" collection.

Recessive Jeans

Once again it is show season in the garden city! This years premier show RECESSION ( hosted by the gals at North of  Wednesday )  provided the local boutiques a chance to peddle their wares on the backs of the young and beautiful. Lab is only too happy to top off these beauties with runway ready looks inspired by Schwarkopf's essential looks collection.

The show went off without a hitch and raised some money for charity too !
